Valera, my city.

Valera is located five hundred and forty seven meters over the level of the sea, between the rivers, Momboy and Motatan, asides is located to approximately thirty three kilometres of the Capital of the state Trujillo of our mistress of the peace. It has a promethium temperature of twenty five centigrade.

One can get to this city through the Antonio Nicolas Briceño airport as well as the corresponding land ways.
From the economical point of view is the most important city of the Trujillo state, its growth became stronger from the moment of the construction of the Trasandina street in the decade of the 20.

If you visit Valera, you should go to the San Juan Bautista church, is a gothic style building designed by the Jesuista priest Luis Yorgoza. It’s construction began in the year nineteen twenty seven and it ended twenty six years after that in nineteen fifty three. Is the highest church of all the Venezuelan Andes. Is very beautiful you can’t miss visiting it sometime.

You can also visit the house of Carmania, it constitutes the principal property of the Priest of Rosario who gave shelter to the Liberator on the twelve and the thirteen of eighteen thirteen. In this Bolivar conceived its proclamation of Death War which was sign afterwards in the city of Trujillo. This house was declared as a historic monument of the nation on August twenty of nineteen sixty three.

You can’t miss the thermal waters Agua Viva, that are thermal manifestations of internal heat of the earth.
